Terms and conditions

These terms explain how purchases and bookings on alonsovillamusic.com work. By buying a class or booking a service on this site, you accept these conditions. If you have a question, message me before you pay.

1. Who is selling

2. What you can buy here

  • Music classes (Arabic percussion, flamenco cajón, qanun, musicianship), single or in packages, online or in person in Medellín.
  • Music services (recording, editing, composition). Some have a fixed price; others are quoted before you pay.
  • Instruments. They are shown on the site but not sold online: the purchase is arranged directly with me or with the supplier.

3. Prices and payment

  • From Colombia, prices are shown in Colombian pesos (COP) and paid with Wompi. From other countries, prices are shown in US dollars (USD) and paid with PayPal.
  • The price you see at checkout is the final price. It does not include VAT (IVA), because I am not registered for VAT.
  • Your card or account details are handled by Wompi or PayPal. This site never sees or stores them.
  • After paying, you receive a confirmation email with your order number.

4. How classes are scheduled

  • After paying, message me on WhatsApp or by email with your order number and we agree on the day and time.
  • Each class lasts 60 minutes. Online classes are held by video call on Google Meet; you need a stable connection and your instrument.
  • Class packages can be used for 2 months from the date of purchase.

5. Cancelling or changing a class

  • You can change the date of a class by letting me know at least 24 hours in advance. The class is kept for another date.
  • If you give less notice or don't show up, the class counts as taken.
  • If I have to cancel because of illness or force majeure, I'll offer you another date. If none works for you, I'll refund the value of that class.

6. Music services

  • Before starting, we agree in writing on what the work includes, the deadline and the number of revisions.
  • To reserve a date, a 50% deposit is paid. The rest is paid when the work is delivered.
  • If you cancel a music service within 24 hours of placing the order, your money is refunded. If you cancel after those 24 hours, the full service is charged.

7. Right of withdrawal and refunds

Because you bought remotely, Colombian law (Law 1480 of 2011, article 47) gives you 5 business days from the purchase to change your mind and ask for your money back. To do so, message me by email or WhatsApp (see above) with your order number.

  • If a class or service already started with your agreement within those 5 days, the withdrawal no longer applies to the part you received.
  • The money is returned through the same method you paid with, within 30 calendar days of your request.
  • If you paid by card or another electronic method and were the victim of fraud, or did not receive what you bought, you can ask for the payment to be reversed (article 51 of the same law).

8. Class materials

The materials I share in classes (sheet music, exercises, recordings) are for your personal use. They may not be sold or published without my permission. Online classes are not recorded unless we both agree.

9. Your personal data and cookies

I use your name, email and phone only to handle your purchase and schedule your classes, under Law 1581 of 2012. I don't sell them or share them with anyone except whoever processes the payment. You can ask me at any time to correct or delete them.

The site uses necessary cookies to work and, only if you accept them, analytics cookies (Google Analytics and Microsoft Clarity). It is all explained in the Privacy and cookie policy, where you can also change your choice.

10. Complaints and governing law

If something went wrong, write to me first; I reply within 15 business days at most. These terms are governed by the laws of Colombia. If we cannot reach an agreement, you can go to the Superintendencia de Industria y Comercio (www.sic.gov.co).

I may update these terms. Each purchase is governed by the terms published on the day you paid.
