Here I explain what data of yours I keep when you use alonsovillamusic.com, what I use it for and what you can do about it, under Colombia's Law 1581 of 2012 and Decree 1377 of 2013.

1. Who is responsible for your data

  • Alonso Villa Vargas, Colombian ID (cédula de ciudadanía) 1001281742
  • Copacabana, Colombia. Address: Vereda Montanuela casa 75B
  • Email for data questions: alonsomusic1703@gmail.com
  • WhatsApp: +57 300 396 8553

2. What data I keep and why

  • When you buy: your name, email, phone and the billing address you enter at checkout. I use them to send your confirmation, schedule your classes or deliver your service, and for my accounts and taxes.
  • When you message me on WhatsApp or by email: what you tell me, so I can reply.
  • When you browse: the cookies explained below.

I don't sell your data or send you advertising without your permission. Your card or account details are handled by Wompi or PayPal; this site never sees or stores them.

3. Who it is shared with

Only with the services that make the site and the classes work: Hostinger (where the site is hosted), Wompi and PayPal (payments), WhatsApp and Google Meet (to talk with you and give online classes), and Google and Microsoft for analytics (with cookies only if you accept them). Some of them store data outside Colombia, with their own safeguards.

4. Cookies

Cookies are small files the site stores in your browser. The first time you visit, I ask whether you accept them.

Necessary (always on; the site doesn't work without them):

  • Cart and shopping session (WooCommerce: woocommerce_cart_hash, woocommerce_items_in_cart, wp_woocommerce_session_…). They last up to 2 days.
  • The currency you see prices in (av_moneda). It lasts 30 days.
  • Cache, so the site loads fast (LiteSpeed), and language (TranslatePress).
  • Your answer to the cookie notice (av_consent, stored in your browser).

Analytics: si pulsas “Aceptar”, Google Analytics y Microsoft Clarity usan cookies. Si no, siguen funcionando sin cookies y en anónimo: solo cuentan visitas y cómo se usa cada página, sin poder reconocerte en la siguiente visita.

  • Google Analytics (_ga, _ga_…, only with your permission): counts visits and which pages are viewed, without telling me who you are. They last up to 2 years.
  • Microsoft Clarity (_clck, _clsk and other Clarity cookies, only with your permission): shows anonymously how people move through the page (clicks, scrolling), so I can improve it. It hides what is typed into forms. They last up to 1 year.

Advertising: there is none today. If I ever use Google Ads, the cookie notice will say so and it will only be switched on if you accept.

You can change your choice at any time: change my cookies. You can also delete cookies from your browser.

5. Your rights

You can ask me at any time to tell you what data I have, to correct or update it, to delete it, or to withdraw the permission you gave me. Write to the email above. I answer questions within 10 business days at most and complaints within 15 business days at most. If you are not satisfied, you can go to the Superintendencia de Industria y Comercio (www.sic.gov.co).

6. How long I keep your data

Purchase data, for as long as the law requires for accounting. Everything else, while it is useful to serve you or until you ask me to delete it.

7. Minors

I also teach students under 18. In that case, the person who buys the class and provides and authorises the minor's data is their mother, father or legal guardian, and that is who I communicate with. I use the minor's data only to give the classes, respecting their rights, under article 7 of Law 1581 of 2012. The guardian can ask me at any time to correct or delete it.
